We report a case of a woman in whom selective embolization of both uterine
arteries was performed using gelatin sponge for control of refractory
postpartum hemorrhage. Ten months after delivery, the women had not resumed
noticeable menstruation. Examination and investigation were consistent with
partial uterine necrosis and complete obliteration of the cavity.
